This unit of bungalow and pavilion is ideal for a single person or a couple. It com­prises full kitchen and laundry facilities and a spacious private garden with deck and pier. Beauti­ful views from the bunga­low, pavilion, and garden.

The name of this bungalow refers to Dillenia (Dilleni­aceae), a wild native tree, of which several plants grow nearby the pier next to the bungalow; Thai name is ส้าน (San).

PLACE: On elevated ground adjacent to the big pond, with view over the whole length of the pond towards southern direction. Dillenia Home is the most secluded home on the resort property. The distance to the next home, Tai Saeng Chan Pavilion, is 55 m (180 ft).

SIZE OF LIVING AREA: Internal area 517 ft² (48 m²), plus ex­ternal sitting area (roofed but not screened), plus large private garden area.

CAPACITY: Designed for a single person or a couple (standard occupancy), con­veniently suit­able for up to 4 persons (maximal occupancy). For an extra child (short stay) an extra camp bed (2.0 × 6.1 ft = 61 × 186 cm) can be provided.

BUILDINGS: A detached bungalow (Dillenia Bungalow) plus a separate but nearby wooden pavilion or stilt house (Chom Doi Pavilion), built in 2007. Bungalow with level of concrete base raised above ground; walls made of bricks and concrete blocks, the master bed­room (air-con) with cavity double wall for superior heat insulat­ion. Floor is of tiles/stone. The roofs of both bungalow and pavilion are in­sulated with foil against heat and the attics have open­ings on the top of the roofs for air circulation. Windows, doors and other open­ings protected by mosquito screens.

ROOMS: The bungalow com­prises 1 master bed­room (with air-con plus ceil­ing fan), 1 en-suite bath­room with hot shower (gas), hand wash basin and Western type toilet, 1 liv­ing and din­ing room (with ceiling fan), 1 kitchen (with 2-ring electric stove or single induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, sink). The pavilion com­prises 1 bed­room up­stairs (with wall fan, hand wash basin and urinal), a roofed verandah around the bedroom as living area (with kitchenette, re­frigerator), 1 ground-floor bathroom (with hand wash basin, hot shower (gas), Western type toilet, and automatic washing machine), and a roofed outdoor sitting area.

FURNITURE: Main furniture is two queen-sized beds, with mattresses (5 × 6.5 ft = 152 × 200 cm), round din­ing table (for 4 persons), chairs, easy-chairs. The master bed­room in the bungalow in­cludes a built-in ward­robe and a built-in room safe. The living room or one of the open spaced roofed living areas can be equipped with a laptop friendly workspace upon request.

GARDEN: The private garden area extends bet­ween the bungalow and the pavilion, to the bank of the big pond in the south, and to the back yard. It has sunny and shady recreation areas, a shady sitting area under the separate pavilion. Nice views are provided over the big pond and over the garden from the terrace. Access to the big natural swimming pond is from two private piers. The large community garden is for recreation, access­ible by path­ways, and comprises the big natural swimming pond, several smaller ponds and ditches, is covered by tall trees and bamboos and is shady almost through­out.

PARKING: Car parking lot, and roofed motor­bike and bicycle parking lots avail­able. A roofed car parking lot is avail­able on pre-order.

HOUSE INFRASTRUCTURE: Electricity (220 V). Tap water (drink­able) with storage tank (185 gal US = 154 gal UK = 700 l) and pump. Inter­net (Wi-Fi, download ≤50 Mb/s, upload ≤10 Mb/s, un­limited).

HOUSE FACILITIES: Bed-linen and towels. Kitchen of bungalow with cutlery, crockery, glass­ware, cook­ing utensils. On request prior to renting, an iron and iron­ing board, hot water kettle, coffee machine, toaster, blender and other utensils can be provided with or with­out extra charge. To some extend, change of furniture is possible, too, at no extra charge.

OPTIONAL HOUSE FACILITIES AND SERVICES: Drink­ing water supply (in bottles and tanks). Room clean­ing services. Break­fast (Western or Thai break­fast, fruits of the season).

TRANSPORTATION: Public transportation from the street next to the property. App-based car-sharing service from Grab. Private transportation by renting a car, motorbike, scooter or bicycle.
